Maybe too late, but it's saturday am and I'm thinking of heading down to clear creek for a long day or overnight- anyone want to go?

I was thinking either an overnighter somewhere (desert or mtns, don't care) leaving Friday afternoon, or just a fun ride on Saturday.

I have to be back by around 5 on Saturday to head to the City, but just wondering if anyone wanted to go.

Going to end up doing a family day instead, but next weekend I'd love to go there and explore some more. Big bike or little bike?

I'm down for big bikes or little. Maybe we can get a Bay Area riders group together for next weekend...

Have been lurking on this thread for a while....Live in the bay area and new to dual sport bikes. I just took a trip on my dr650 to Seattle and back. I love reading everyone's ride reports and especially seeing peoples routes to get ideas for where to go next, so I thought I would share my RR.

Cool, maybe a couple of SE's on this ride? I'll invite some other local dualsport riders for an overnight Clear Creek jaunt this coming Fri/Sat...

Hell with both of you. I am desperately trying to get down to Coco's before the year is out, but I think that might be too soon.

I also think I'm out for this weekend since I have finish putting the wife's cage back together. Man, I just need more hours in the day....

Labor Day Campin' Trip

Heading out...

I'm on a Hwy 4 thing this year, further away from the Yosemite smoke too.

Bigfoot's boyfriend?

Walker burger for lunch, no gas in town.

Thunderstorms again, starting to be a theme for us...Benjava would never believe it.

Camp!!

Frenchman sold all his motorsickles, bought a shaggin' waggin'.

Relaxing time...

PS: leaving on a '73 Tiger ride tomorrow ... we'll be at the DNA Lounge at 10am tomorrow, at Fast Fridays in Auburn Friday night, at the Ranchito in Quincy Saturday night watching old motorcycle movies outside behind the motel ... and in Old Town Auburn on Sunday night ... 29 pre-'76 bikes this year on the NorCalTT ... Hope to see some BAARCers in the parking lot ...

That wasn't the case a week earlier... this was the view from the east end of Alpine lake on 8/23.

The smoke was pretty thick.

Baja

OK, so I decided to just make it happen. I'm heading out 10/9, staying SD for the night and then crossing at Tecate to hit Mike's Sky Ranch day 1, Coco's Day 2, and then Gonzaga Day 3, for a final blast home after.

Yeti is I think rolling with me, but anyone from up here wanna try to make it? This is a big bike trip but I think will be mainly dirt thanks to some cool routes from JustPaul.

JustPaul is the guy to get the routes from. I am hoping to join the Baja foray this winter once I pick up a GPS. Wish I could make it happen. Have fun. Keep the sticky side down.
