Truck Ramp?

To the ADV universe (or at least the East Bay) - Off to a Mammoth DS ride this Thursday - Sunday and was wondering if anyone has a loading ramp I might borrow? Nathan has the truck but no ramp. I'd be willing to let you borrow my 3 rail trailer for the weekend as trade.

I can pickup somewhere in the East Bay....

PM me if you can help.

It's a dirt bike, JUMP that thing off there. :)

I'm basically in Tracy and have a full monty ramp if you run out of options, but honestly, you ought to be able to find a way to get that thing off such a low trailer pretty easy.

Someone is forgetting what a bitch it was to get his bike on a lower trailer even with the ramp...

Oh and the ramp is for my buddies Truck. We're not using the trailer this trip and although the XR can get "out" of his truck bed - getting two bikes back onto his Frontier is a challenge unless you are on a steep ledge.

BRP's aint' light when fully loaded.

AL responded via PM so I think I am OK!!

Moving to South Bay Area from TX.

Hey guys, I'm moving out next month and I have an xr650r that I recently got plated. We are looking for places to rent around the San Jose area and hopefully will have the good luck of finding a place with a garage or storage space for the bike.
Just throwing a feeler out there to possibly rent some garage/shop space for storing and doing maintenance on the bike. That is if we have limited space at our rental.

I've looked through some of your ride reports of the surrounding area and it looks like some nice riding!

Hey honda20,
Welcome to the Bay Area and to BAARC!
I moved here from the east coast a while ago, and still can't get over how much great riding there is out here ...

Good luck with the garage hunt, I imagine some South Bay guys may have some ideas ...
see you around the campfire,

2013 NorCal TT ...

We did a four day loop through the Sierras this weekend ...
It was the eighth annual NorCal TT, a vintage bike ride for pre-1976 bikes ...
There were around 30 bikes this year ...

Barry and I rode up Friday morning ...

Barry's 1985 RZ 350 he had to ride because the carbs on his Yamaha R5
were stolen while it was parked on the street the night before ...

We went to watch the speedway racing at Fast Fridays ... lots o' fun ...

Our route to Quincy on Saturday ...

It absolutely poured rain all day long ... pain and suffering ensued ...

Some of the marques ...

Some of the crew that rode up on Saturday to
take me up on my "see you there" invite
and hang out in Quincy ... They rode up from San Francisco
through the rainstorm on Saturday morning on mostly
modern KTM 690s, KLRs and BMW GSs ...

Thank goodness the rain passed, and Sunday was beautiful ...

Our route back to Auburn on Sunday ...

Dustin's Honda ...

Frank's 1976 Ducati 900 SS ... we ride 'em ...
Frank totaled this bike and walked away on Sunday afternoon,
running into the front of a truck on a narrow road ... bummer ...

We took the adventure route home on Monday ...

Stuart lost the headlight on his /5 ... we found it and duct tape fixed it ...

Kalle on his 1948 Indian Chief ...
Got the "Best Bike" trophy at this year's
NorCal TT!

Through the oak trees in Deer Creek Hills ...

The intersection at Michigan Bar Road ...

Some of the water hazards ...

We stopped in Isleton for lunch on the way home ...

Probably did about 1000 miles over four days ...
There was snow uo in the mountains on Saturday ...
We saw it on the mountain tops on our way home ...

Here's a map of our route home on Monday ...
The dirt roads were S. Shingle Road and Latrobe Road in between
Latrobe and Stonehouse Park ...

see you around the campfire!
