Some pics I was able to get a hold of.

After the overnight stay in the dunes:

Just before the sprint on the beach at Lac Rose:

Overall, he's happy with the event and wouldn't mind doing it again soon

Who knows? When I have the time, and most importantly the money

Funny story: I asked him why 2 of the bike entrants weren't attending. To the Moroccan my dad said he had no clue (so he pretty much wasted his big entry fee, for whatever reason). The 2nd guy was a fugitive and caught my Interpol at the harbour, talk about tough luck

We drove down to southern France yesterday to pick up the bike and equipment. On the go for 2250km, 29 hours, including 4 hours waiting for the boat to dock, unload and go through customs
Unbelievable to think it took only 8 days to arrive from Dakar

Here some pics I took with my phone:

Schlesser Buggy:

Bikers eagerly awaiting the bikes to come down from the sweeper truck:

Our's is first to unload

It seems as though Carbon/Kevlar bashplates aren't as resistant against rocks as we thought:

A small detour on the way back home to pick up this (Alu-Framed WR with a broken cylinder head, easy repair job)

Car stuffed with all the parts:

So that's a wrap, folks. Until the next race
