I'm a little late to the party here but I found this thread in your sig while reading your Oregon Trail RR. You did a great job with this and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it over the last couple hrs. Can't wait for you to finish the oregon trail report also so hurry up!

A group of three from RI are going to attempt to retrace dockingpilot's route into New Brunswick next week. We are planning to set off on September 11th on the PDR north from MA and connect into the Turf and Surf route east into NB. We have started a RR here

This is my first post-

I can see the trip is fading to memory but what a wonderful welcome to the ADV community. I'm currently stuck overseas paying for the next great trip but I have so much to learn. Great post DP and crew, seems to be a trend that good people occupy their time with this activity.

I don't know if people will even see this but I thought it fitting that this be my first post. Cheers!

Very Nice

Wow! great RR, I am going to look into the timing required to do this ride and try to fit it in.
Fantastic scenery.
Did anyone ever post GPS tracks? If so I missed them

Sarah (wife) and I just retraced, in reverse, portions or this route over 9 days just this August.
We started out from VT and headed to Quebec city, then the north shore of the St. Lawrence. After a ferry ride across the water, and a sweet ride through the Chic Chocs in the Gaspe Pen., we hooked up with the route in St. Quentin.
The portions we rode between there and Eustis Me were sweet!
The opportunities in that area of Maine are endless!
Thanks for the route Dockingpilot.

Very, ..well very Vermont !

We are already starting to see some color changes in the trees. But this was nothing compared to what was to come.

We are in northern Vermont now, very close to the Canadien border. We stay south of the border but head east towrds New Hampshire where we plan to meet up with another friend from Ct. Dennis. He plans to rendoivous with us in Pittsburg NH our evenings destination.
