And we continue to ride !

And ride

The Fall season hangs heavy in the air up here.

Big woods

Saw notta soul

We would eventually pop out onto the Renous Highway (sorry fellas I know I butchered the spelling). We would only ride it for about 1 mile however before turning off and continueing easterly for Blackville and Paul's invite.
I take the break to put on dry socks. .....bastard....

And we find the turn off easily.

And we ride on !

Little did we know what lay ahead.

WE keyed in on the word "PROCEED" and so we did ......
However.........

Find Lake Francis in NH. Look on the east side of it. That big swath of woods. You'll see a road going through into MAINE. It's labled too.

Yup! Renous was spelled right,.... but you butchered poor Alyre Marquis' name pretty good. He wouldn't mind, though. If I know him (and I do) he probably sat up half the night pouring drinks and stuffing y'all full of food. Then he was likely the last to bed and the first to rise. Nothing like drifting off to sleep to the gentle thrumming of a diesel generator.

A little bit of mud, a few water crossings, a lot of dirt road, and the unknown of what lies ahead, all along with riding with awesome guys that enjoy it as much as you do! Thanks for bringing me back there.
