Check for play in the rear suspension linkage. The dog bone is usually smashed flat on one end and needs to be replaced along with all the bearings and seals. It's not a deal killer, just needs to be done. If it doesnt have race gas in it it will sound like the motor is done in. Then just all the regular stuff of any motorcycle.

Oh, it will run. But it will knock like hell. I run VP red in mine but switching to VP 110 cause the place I buy gas is not ordering any more Red. Red=105 MON Vp110=107 MON

If you're anywhere near Seattle c'mon by and have a look at my 315. I don't really want to sell but I got hurt pretty bad earlier this year (5hrs on the operating table), got hurt again recently (got another date on the operating table coming up) and doubt I'll be spending much time on the trials bike in the next year.
