I hate these somber posts, but......

This is Rick The Party Boss's funeral guest book where you can leave a message for his family.
Thanks to VAcommuter.

Guess this is another board I should be on...

Recently (August) relocated to MD from the midwest, not quite a SMIB by birth but I am from Missouri so I have a portion of that going and I am in MD so I guess that picks up the rest.

I am up for any type of trail riding (that can support a F800GS), I am new to BMWs but have ample experience on a variety of bikes with pro-am roadracing and motocross. In the military, attending the DOD medschool in Bethesda so I can only get away for day trips at the moment. So if anyone likes to bust trails, drop 20k motorcycles on their sides and push/pull 500lb bikes out of some nasty stuff send me a PM and I would be more than willing to join you!

SMIB is not a place but a state of mind... we only have one true SMIBber in the bunch, the rest of us are transplants like you. Remember to note that if someone from inside the circle of three counties questions the sticker... we are the Southern Maryland Independent Bikers... when you are questioned outside the circle... you are currently dating your sister.

What did the SMIB teenage girl say after having sex? "get off me daddy you're crushing my cigarettes?"

PM me if you need anymore info.

OBTW "Walter" is a Lusbian on a GS..............not that there is anything wrong with that.

I can't make this one. But my wifies parents have a house near smoke hole caverns. So I know the area but havn't biked it. I will be up there the weekend before you all. I have a xmas gift at summit point to use. Get to run the @&#% out of a ferrari.

Just got my 600 mile service and have already bought a ton of accessories. I think I am gonna have to splurge on a lower seat. 5-10 and tip toeing the gs adv, any recommendations?
Tryed the low seat at bobs the other day so its the right height for flat footin. Which is most comfy, I figure the stock bmws are not.

This vid is pretty cool. When Triumph released the Scrambler I sold my 1995 Thunderbird to get one.
It was an amazing bike. So fun to ride. I found this site(ADV) looking for farkles for it...
I did sell it after one year to get my f650, a long time crush, for fear I'd never have a chance to get one

And the "Stairway" Remix soundtrack isn't bad either.

That's what you think. I picked it up, put it in my sidebag and sold it on E-Bay.

Parts removal on the Versys is complete; salvage company should be picking up the bike some time this coming week. Thanks for the help Wayne, and it was good to meet you Jim and Sherri.

Here's the link to the Spring Campout in WV I was telling you about. Hope you can make it.

Now to find the next bike! Maybe it'll be that KTM down in Atlanta; my buddy we'll be going to see it & test ride it on Wednesday. Can't wait to see what he has to say about it.
