J4S,

I was not trying to crash to party when I talked about joining you guys for the CDR if my AK plans turned to crap, they did, but you were not the one that told me that I was "WANNA BE". I never wanted to intrude, I thought that I could offer some west coast "desert" experiences that might help.

Four weeks prior to my departure for AK, my plans for AK changed due to family health matters. Daily I was calling my wife to ask about status of my FIL that has stage 3 Lung cancer and was hospitalized for heart failure. I was Jonesing for a ride and new that going to AK was not smart. Scotty and I talk weekly and he said that he was leading a group leaving a couple days early. I begged a space with the condition that at any moment I would leave and head east to go see FIL. I was in.

As a guy that was born and raised in SMC I has a soft spot in my heart for SMIBville. I have only hoped to shared a different perspective and a view of other riding as options for SMIBs. If I have ever done anything that has offended you please let me know. I was only trying to offer a differing perspective and offer a safe haven if you ended up on the west coast. As with all SMIBbies, if you end up out here you have a place to crash.

I am happy to talk more about this if you would like, PM me and I will give you my phone #s or email. I will be happy to chat.

Bob

Bob,

I never meant any disrespect to you. As one of the few people who really get the moniker "Ghetto Mills" you have more right to call this thread home than most.

OK, enough of the bullshit.

Nice bike Scotty!

If you're ok with it, me and the gang could take your bike out for a spin. We'll dress like you, take pictures and vids this way you can live vicariously through the rest of us. Sound Good?

Who's up for putting the 1200 through the mud? Or another water hole?

Some people on this thread need to grow up.
Life is too fucking short to dwell on perceived insults or saying forgiveness is never gonna happen. (ask me how I know).

I'll tell you guys the same thing I told H14 when I offered the GS for the CDR... if it goes down, put it out of its misery. Toss it off a cliff. I'm thinking a Husky 610/630 would be nice... seeing as how the wifey ain't getting on the bike for a few years.
