...or bullfighter with real bulls. you'll be riding roads through plenty of free range cattle country, including some unlikely locations. the wild critters tend to run away from you, cattle loafing along the road can get spooked and run right into ya.

watch for sheep crap in the road and back off until you locate the herd. if going too fast, you could come around a corner or over the top of a hill and find 500 sheep blocking the road.

one of the things i enjoyed seeing were herds of wild horses, easy to imagine yourself back in time 150 years.

not bored...worse, i'm grounded. no green light for extended travel this year, at least not yet.

that rat bike is sitting there packed, plugged into the charger, pointed towards the door. i could be on the road in about 10 minutes.

i'd like to be riding along with you guys, but damn, i missed ALL those planning meetings.


here's another tip. sometimes it's good to turn off that SPOT when you make a detour. google has that cool streetview feature, and the folks back home might get the wrong idea when they read the sign on the building you're parked in front of which reads BIG BOBS GENTLEMANS CLUB. how would they know you just stopped to ask directions to the campground?
