Ya....that ethanol does seems to be eating up something because I drained my carb and it had the black specks like yours...maybe an inline filter as close to the carb as can be would help

Ethanol deteriates rubber. Never leave that crap in lawn mowers chainsaws etc. Always use a good product like LUCAS for ethanol and mix with your gas. It will cake the inside of your fuel tank, lines all the way to the carb bowl with a thick plastic like substance.

I've been going way out of my way to put E-Free in my Husky. Sometimes I'm forced to put shit-gas in (i.e. Brandywine, WV), and it hurts me more and more every time I do. It'll kill FI...

My tank is chock full o corn but I replace my fuel filter often (PITA). With thousand mile weekends etc, my options are often quite limited. I'm lucky if they take credit card.

Speaking of gas, I saw it from $3.79 - $4:19 through MD, PA and NY and as high as $4.88 in Canada

This weekend went from $3.599 up to a high of $4.089 with most of it below $4.

It sucks out there Bob and my Souix friends tell me that soon it will fall into the Pacific where it belongs.

Come East my man, come East.

Gas prices are weird. In Santa Fe it's X, but north of Santa Fe in the middle of nowhere there's a gas station that is usually around 20-30 cents cheaper than X. There's a random truck stop between SF and Albuquerque that has cheaper gas than anything I've seen in Albuquerque. You'd think there would be a pattern to gas pricing based on location, but I have yet to figure it out.

Pomo, I hear you. I just drove to OKC and back. It used to be that Amarillo was the cheapest gas around. Not this time. They were 0.20+ more than other stops!

I still have one in the safe with two uppers and both will put 10 155 or 175 grain bullets in 3.5" at 500 yards with monotonous regularity.

You would think with up coming elections that gas prices would be way down. Whats the story now??? No hurricanes, no pending invasions, WTF? If you remember one thing remember this....IF YOU WANT CHANGE??? REAL CHANGE???? Vote out all incumbents NOV 6th and you will get change.........eventually. And continue to do so till its a new group every 4-6 years and they will get the message that we are tired of this One sided BS!

Oh ya riding to Mortons saturday for Octoberfest if anyone wants to tag along, PM me.
