Main jet vibrated loose and was laying in the bottom of the bowl. Everything is cleaned and reassembled. Bike runs good just idling a little high.

KLR has temp fix for the choke. Cut the cable housing past the break......a pair of pliers to pull on the cable to start the bike will work just fine until a new cable comes in.

Why don't you just clamp a cheap Vise-Grip on it and leave it?

You'd be a credit to KLR riders EVERYWHERE!

Sh!t Scotty! You'd be famous ! ! ! !

He pulled me over for travelling on a "Highway" on a motor scooter because it was a "step-through". I explained it was a 150cc two stroke, legal as a motorcycle in Virginia and I was travelling at the posted 55mph speed limit.

MD law states the requirements for a "motor scooter" but my displacement, wheel size and a few other items clearly indicate that my bike is a motorcycle, not a motor scooter. By his rationale, a 650cc Suzuki Burgman should never travel on 301

I actually am confident now it is completely invalid.

Don't mean to laugh, but ....

Sounds like deputy Fife had a boring day, and figured that since he stopped you, why not....

You'll beat it easily.

edit, only a warning, shows how unsure he was...

I so want a little scooter like that!

Have you been taking lessons from Skippi ? I'm not going to worry unless you come to a ride one day and
want to show us how your new headlight doubles as a projection screen ...
