It's the right part number for the KTM Edit: It's the right p/n for any bike

Denis.........you need a used KTM battery? I think the last PO put one in last year. Need to check the paper work.

Actually I was thinking of putting it in the KLR. I'd like to haves new & sealed type battery for it before the big trip.

excellent, lemme know

I have a feeling that these are really great batteries, but I got a dud.

Dennis, although the lore of a 1LB battery is really tempting..DAMHIK.. it takes up way less space too.... BUT, I know that they can be sensitive to over zealous charging systems on bikes, and you can't just charge them with any ol charger. I also think that jumping the bike might hurt it too.
My personal choice for badass batteryness (if I was going as far from home as you plan to) would be a sealed AGM.
Might want to check the forums to get a better idea if it could really take you where you want to go.

Bear in mind that the Hero 3 Silver is really just the Hero 2 in a fancy new housing. Well, not quite, it has a new lens. The Black edition is the real new hotness. I think the GoPro Hero 2 is still ~$200, but if you want to shave more $ off it's very comparable. I'm guessing the 2's price will start dropping once the 3's are out for a while.

Hey Jack, if your chair is still at Wayne's, maybe we could do a Ride To Meet sometime.

I think so. Maybe that's a big deal for some. I've always mounted the camera somewhere I can easily reach. Helmet, chest, handlebars, windshield of my car, etc.

Edit: I was thinking of the remote... if you mean the wifi to phone thingy, last I heard the app wasn't complete and/or didn't work very reliably.
