Looks like once you get that stuff on the bike, it'll be good to go. Only thing I'd add is some barkbusters.

Welcome to the Asylum.

Thanks for the welcomes. I've lurked around the classifieds and big ride reports for awhile, but never really checked into the local stuff. I didn't know this many SMIBs could read. I guess that explains the generous use of smileys and pictures here.

You guys don't scare me much. I've been in and around the navy for ~30 years and hang out at some other MC forums. I won't fall for a "Hey buddy, can you pick up my soap for me?" type trick for a 12th time.

My goal is to get the DRZ ready for some adv riding and pick up a light dual sport so my son and I can do some VA/WV exploring this summer when he is home from college.

I pretty much have Speedy sorted....

I'll have to tag along with you FFs on one of your next rides. (Provided of course it is between 72 and 77 degrees and sunny out.)

Major cleaning for the next RTB/S.

Hopefully I'll remember how to put it back together.

Anybody got a big chain saw?

Hi everyone. I have a portion of a tree stump that I need cut smaller. We have a chain saw but it's not big enough for the job since the stump is roughly 26" in diameter. All I need is about a foot long section sliced off the end. I'm in Severna Park, a few miles north of Annapolis. I will repay the favor with beer of your choice. Thanks.

I used to think that 45LC made big holes. When we were working in Kodiak we would go buy bowling pins and shoot them with
9MM
357
45 ACP
45 LC
45 CASULL

The 9s would wobble the pins, the 357 would move them around pretty good, the ACP would push them off the table, the LC would kick them off the table, the casull would blow the pins up.

OBTW, the casull made a trip through Colorado this past summer. JIC 2 or 4 legged predators needed to be dealt with.

The 454 does a nice job rolling hogs too. First one I shot was a 250 pounder running at 50 yards. He took one more step and fell on his side. It's even better out of the carbine. 305 grain bullets out of the FA went 1600 fps. Same load did over 2000 from the carbine.
