One of my customers picked up a pressure washer last week. He mentioned he couldn't get his XR650 started. I told him to bring it by, I could work on it for him.

He came by this morning with it on the trailer.

A '97 with 5,000 miles on it.




He unties it and I try to start it. Starts right up, runs fine.
He wanted to know what I did.
So instead of me keeping it for a few days, He took it home. I only got to ride it around the field once instead of around the county a few times.

Dang it!

So it turns out that along with my back issue I some how dislocated my clavicle as well. I did not no you could do that. Anyway the back is better and I am now nursing the ole collar bone no lifiting for the next three weeks. What a long day that makes at work. Now I am a full time finger pointer.

I didn't do anything except push the starter button. It's not the first thing I've fixed just by touching it.



I told him if the bike didn't start when he got it home that meant it didn't like him and he should give it to me.
