The Prince of SMIB's was holding court under a rain fly this week-end. Notice how he has Tom's attention.

Is that Steve B I see there? Was he and another guy on a DRZ headed up to BYOB on Thursday last week? I was in the truck on Rt 29 between Madison & Ruckersville and came across 2 guys on DRZs as they turned onto rt 29 from rt 609 (scuffletown road). The one in the back dropped back and turned around in the median and so I pulled over with the lead guy to let him know that his buddy had turned around. Asked him if he was headed to BYOB and he said yeah, told him I wish I could make it but was tied up with work unfortunately. It occured to me afterwards that it might have been Steve B!

If so, Hi Steve!

PS. 2nd DRZ was mostly black I think. The first was yellow & had aluminum panniers like Steve's.

I think he is saying "I command you to go forth and ride, ride like the wind my loyal subjects..."

Yeah, that's what I remembered; and the DRZ of the rider I spoke with on rt 29 looked a lot like that. I just couldn't tell if it was Steve, and frankly I didn't think of it in the moment as there was traffic coming up and we couldn't block the road. It just hit me afterwards, and then seeing the picture with Steve in it, I was wondering if that was him. Did he ride in with a buddy on a black DRZ?

Right on; I thought so and so it's nice to get confirmation that I'm not completely nutzo. Hope to see some of you FFs at Goosecreek's if I can make it Saturday night.
