I saw this group of ADV riders on a ride through Micheaux State Forest, so I stopped to say hi. Others just rode right on past!
They were good guys - after I stopped I discovered that I had a dead battery! Got a jump from the helpful fellow on the left. He let me borrow his jumper cables in case I needed them on the ride home! What a nice guy.

Fun ride! Made it home without having to stop for gas. I was three minutes from home, hadn't shut the Tiger off since I left the group for fear of not being able to restart her, at a traffic light I tap the horn to get a gaping cager to move, this was enough to stall her out! I thought that I was done for, but fortunately she started up. I'll be on the KLR until the battery issues of the Tiger are solved.

Pics later

Joy of motorcycling #27 - riding while buckets of water are dumped on you. At least it was summer. Friggin boot was full of water.

If you are ever up exploring that area let me know. I've only been through it once quickly. I haven't had the chance to explore. I didn't realize you southern boys made it that far north.

Mike, how long was that backup on the B-W Parkway?

I looked south when I got on the overpass and said wooo....brake lights down around the corner.

I have to get those jumper cables back to you Wayne. Thanks for letting me borrow them. I will get a set of my own for the next time.
PS - she starts right up now in the garage. Triumphs - even the modern ones are a bitch electrically. ..... But I sure do like riding her when she works.
