Got a late start, 1245. Hit a couple roads that go through Michaux, hit some nice roads to and fro also, good day riding.

Saw lots of unpaved roads. Man I need to get me one them there dual sports or adventure bikes.

The only good thing I can say about not riding/camping this weekend is at least I don't have to break camp and go home today. Pretty fucking pathetic.

Back safe and sound with just over 600 miles for the weekend. Turned over 45K miles on the KLR on the way home. From LF. In the cold cold rain. Had a humerous incident. Clutch lever was giving me grief. Hard time pulling in the clutch and made a couple of clutchless shifts before I found a good place to pull over. Lever looks normal but sometimes will pull back and sometimes not. Figured it must be the cable so I traced the cable back to the arm on the sidecase. DOH! Perfectly shaped piece of gravel wedged between the case and the arm. When jostled it would go on end and I could shift normally but then it would fall down again and keep the arm from moving. Thankfully a quick and cheap fix to pull the offending rock nugget out.
