Nice.
thanks Mike... so I didn't mention this in the post yesterday... I came to one of those... I just ripped this wire off the hand controls and it looks old and my soldering is only ok. Then I notice while stripping off the handlebars that all the other hand control units are brand new... So I crossed my fingers and taped up old wires and started bike with no impact. I pulled the old controller later and it said Hella Made in Germany... and it is as old as the bike. Here is the photo. I think it is the high low beam... the new controls had the switch somewhere else. So I guess the whole bike was rewired too... happy surprise.

I think you can safely assume that anything g that old has had a lot of re-wiring done. If you need help with the soldering or want the old wiring cleaned up, you know where I am. I have all of the wire, tools, connectors, etc. to fix it in house.

Annie's first 100 with clip-ons

After work I decided to take Annie north to run some errands and see how uncomfortable she would be with my new riding position. I got as far as twin kiss on 301 North when the rains started. I was tracking in real time with my weather bug app. A must when you ride as much as I do.

Check out this video. Annie got a bath... another free bike wash

Then it was the classic... Hey it's sunny but still raining.

Then I continued north to the Mall. Digging those clip-ons

Then needed some supplies.. I'm working this weekend

My treasures

Even with the changes... I am thinking about keeping the panniers. They are so handy.

End result is my back feels great but the helmet isn't cutting it...I need to wear goggles under the eye shield... at 80 my eyes start tearing up ... or maybe this is pure joy.

Her or me? Over the last two weeks I brought Katie to Marshall RTE, Chasey to NOVA RTE, Paris to LF, and Annie around town.

I know Chris, still not impressed
