There will be an eastern excursion in the near future

You don't really have to go to the show if you just look at the Greenville, SC show thread with everyone's pics

There is another bike show in Timonium, MD in February. Depending on how cold it is I may go to that one.

I don't know about burnouts on the Strom but we might be able to pull it off on the SM.

Any of you heard about this for heated clothing?

I don't know the details but there was another battery powered heated vest I saw last winter which I was considering for use on the dub. The power output would be nada compared to your bike...though no wires and being able to leave it on and use it off bike/outdoors/sporting events etc would be a plus. On second thought, sports events suck so use it for all the aforementioned but games Mountain Hardware is a great company and I believe they may have a warranty of sorts...always gotta look for the warranty

I've dealt with Mountain Gear off an on for a couple of years and they've been decent to deal with. The jacket was just a thought for people with limited power output.

Apparently our local police know about "us" from our tag game. Someone was going for a tag and a sheriff rolled up and asked what he was doing, person explained the game and the cop told him they have a call about twice a month about someone on a motorcycle rootn' around the bushes. The cop proceeded to use his MagLite to help search for the cache. Unfortunately, that rider had been bruced already

Ain't nothing illegal about a public VDOT road (despite how much yokels think they own the grass on the right of way)

Hey scott, ever play beer pong? Ask your son, he'll tell you all about it I say we have a competition at your shindig

That vest has very good reviews. I had to chuckle at this comment.

"....I was even able to play a comfortable round of golf in 38 degree weather and actually swing the golf club,"

38 degrees standing still

Better keep this quiet. Next thing you know they'll be a "Road cleaned and maintained by the Bull Winkle Death Riders" sign.
