Yuenglings main competitor back in the day.
3 Quarts for a dollar. There were 4 or 5 local breweries back in the day.

Then rolling rock decided that it was a premium beer and the prices went from 75c and some dirt for a 6ixer to Yuengling prices.... 1.15 a 6ixer.

Are you old enough to remember the little Rolling Rock pony bottles?

IIRC, they were 6oz. and came in an odd size - 8 or 10 bottles sted of 6 or 12.

Yea! good times.
Our real staple was 16oz returnables. Loved those. Like 24 16oz growlers in their own reusable box.

So tonight it is Spaten premium lager. It is an imported beer from Munich Germany. Light with the finish being the best part.
