I was amaazed at how well the Tourances stuck. I could/did drag the pedals at will and the tires just hung right in there. During the Max braking still held up fine.

I think I was able to spin the rear once coming out of the tight circle and heading for the larger circle, the guy in front of me had a fair lead so I was pretty aggressive coming out of the corner getting on the gas. I felt the butt wobble and the next thing I knew I was learned way over the other side and rolling around the circle.

OBTW It seems like it is a huge arc when you go from leaning deep one side to leaning deep on the other side. I know the GS is tall, but that is an interesting feeling and combine that with slidding the butt cheeks acroos the seat, man there is a whole bunch of movement going on. Time to watch the GP races again.

When Rflagg and I took the experianced rider course, I had 606's on the KLR...had fun dragging the pegs
I can't remember sliding the rear wheel at all...Did the same thing in the sport bike course.

For the Jarhead in the group. Think good thoughts Monday at 1400 PDT. A Black beast will be delivered to Ventura County.

Cool about your sister Lance.

This is good news Dave!! I spent weeks looking for a t63 for my rear to no avail. I punted in the last minute and found my new 606 sitting on the porch yesterday after work. It sure does have more aggressive knobs.

I believe it is gonna get muddy on Saturday!! :) Weather looks nice Sunday and Monday.... not so good Saturday. Well... they wouldn't call it adventure riding without some weather woes.

We may luck out.........only stray T-storms. Like you said, it's adventure riding and not sissy baby cry riding.
