I live in Bend and if I could only do one day long ride from Redmond I'd do this.

Redmond to Sisters
Sisters to 3 Creeks Lake
3 Creeks Lake to Todd Lake (dirt with a creek ford)
Cascade Lakes Drive to Crescent Cutoff
Crescent Cutoff to Hwy 58
Hwy 58 to Oakridge
Oakridge to Westfir
Aufderheide Memorial Hwy to Hwy 126
Hwy 126 to Hwy 242
Hwy 242 to Sisters
Sisters to Redmond

Same thing we have to do every time we go to America..... buy more.
This looks like a great route.
I had forgotten about that Rattlesnake road out of Clarkston, ID. Did that years ago in a cage. We'll have to revisit that one.
Thank you to all PNW inmates who have posted places/routes. Much appreciated. Keep 'em coming.

Still seeking info on a clean/reasonable motel near Pullalup.
Thanks. Fite

Hacky cain't ride that stuff— he'll get airsick or seasick or summat. Prolly 'fraid of snakes, too.

Hang on, Grüvers, I've got Vena working on the pile-up problem. It'll be figgered out by whenever.

You guys digging any postholes lately? I miss the 2-stroke cold-smoke.

Hey Johnny D....that roads straight out of a Pashnit road guide! Awesome looking.

Heli, thanks for the follow up. All I was able to find on google was a couple of VERTICAL hotels...many floors. The link Johnny D sent was unreadable but I checked one Fite sent and they were not accepting reservations. They may be full.......not sure.

Appreciate the assist and the route guidance PNWers!

Thanks for the updates JohnnyD/Heli. Keep chasing down that pile-up issue in Pull'emup. We're going to need a comfortable clean-up shack.

You mentioned Hacky being 'fraid of snakes.
It's bee stings that throw a wrench in his spokes.
Here's the evidence. Northbound into St. Helens years ago.

Never noticed this before but the Hackster looks a bit like Stevie Wonder in that shot. Just sayin'.

Result: homestay within four miles of the "car guy" grounds. Would that work for all y'all?

Hang with you and Johnny D and work our way toward Redmond, Oregon for Thursday's Round-Up.
Another group under Griz's command will be approaching from the East and do the link-up.
Get goofy for a few days at the National and then go explore Oregun/Washington for the week.
Crater, Rogue River Ride, Southern coast and chow down at BBistro in AU-Beach. Spruce Goose???
End up in Pullemup, WA that next Friday for a weekend of hot rods at the Good Guys Pacific NW Nationals. From there???... it's anyone's guess. Some thoughts of jumping to the island, checking out the Canadian babes and working our way up to Duffy Lake and over to the Kootenays. Come back in at Glacier and do the Joe/Lolo. End up back in Seattle for flights out. Katoomer and Ace have 3 weeks, I'm probably going to stretch it to 4.
Fite
Hey Fight, how's it been? Still corrupting our youth and driving Miss Daisies?

Reb and I are now "living the dream" about 10 miles east of Sandpoint, ID on Hwy 200. We are on the way to Glacier Nat'l Park at the junction of Hwy 95, Hwy 2, and Hwy 200.

A great ride is Hwy 56 (the Bull River Hwy) between Hwy 200 and Hwy 2. Fast and fun sweepers on the way to Libby and Kalispell.

If you and crew are heading our way, you're welcome to crash at our place in Hope...hot showers, cold beers, and plenty of grass for camping.

I have some tools, and there's a local Honda shop that can mount and balance tires for BMWs if you are running low on rubber.

If you're just heading through, I wouldn't mind tagging along for a 1/2 day on the KLT, then bidding fair well.
