Just kicked you a private message with my number and some info. I'd recommend a crash bar and skid plate just to cover the basics. It's really a matter of personal preference since there's so much stuff out there to add on depending on what your focus is.

Stock...

With addons...

saturday ride

looks like saturday will be about a 4 hour ride for me, but i'm good to go any direction anyone wants to go. I'll just turn back at about 2 hours in.
breakfast or lunch sounds good to me.
I did put in for august 22nd off, for a friday night camp trip. I really really am ready to do a motorcycle camp ride, I have missed every trip for the last 2 years because of something or another.

it's exciting, i have my first grown up bike. I'm thinking patagonia/west gate would be a great ride. nothing too crazy until i get used to 600# on tourances, i think i wont have as much traction as the drz on 606's. the bike went from cochise to my garage where it has been sitting waiting for my weekend. now i get to figure out how to get photos onto advrider.

riding

looks like i might be doing another ride with the brother in law sunday too, it'll be from coronado memorial to who knows where.
saturday ride is still open riders, anyone other than me and brian in?
we could start in sv, through west gate, hang a right to parker, take the dirt to patagonia, loop back to west gate.
or start memorial west to patagonia and back through west gate...
meet for breakfast? or save appetite for lunch?
I know with me and brian it'll be coffee and cliff bars....

I am in for Saturday. Let me know where to meet and when. Just changed the fork oil on my dove-diving bitch to a heavier oil with less air gap. Want to test it out to see how she handles before I head out to Wyoming/Colorado in a couple of weeks. Also have a new rear tire to put on. Need to burn the last little bit of tread off the current one.

Anyone have opinions of the hwy 92 cafe?

I know Chris is capable of an 0400 start, and early is cooler, but lets be reasonable ;)

I just threw my jacket in the washer to get all of the red dirt out of it from our last ride. I just realized that I will probably be following your ass around again and get it all f'd up...

Guess I should check this site more often. I may have plans for a long bicycle ride Saturday(new Ti bike to break in ), but if I get no takers for my proposed route I may tag along with you guys.
