As soon as I get the Bronco back together, and I mostly built my saginaw/york bracket last weekend, I just need to finish up the welds and find an idler and it is done, then my hydroboost bracket is next, so I am making progress there. Then it is plumbing and wiring and I am wheeling again.

Oh, this may surprise you, on Sunday I finished my retaining wall. That has been a 4 year project. I think you are the only one here that has seen my yard, for the rest of you it has looked like a construction site since 2005. Next weekend I will have a landscaping tractor and I am filling and leveling. I should build a motocross track in the wash while I have it. If you are bored Saturday or Sunday next weekend you can come over and help me shovel/rake.

When will you have a day off again for riding motorbikes?

So it looks like more snow and rain is imminent for tonight and Saturday morning. I say we call an audible for tomorrow. I'll PM my phone # to those that may still be interested in riding and we'll decide in the A.M. So far I think it's just me and Clay though. That being said, I'm probably dumb enough to ride in snow and mud if I have a co-conspirator or two.

Sunday is looking better, weather wise.

uhhh

Hey, I don't want to sound like a puss cake but if there's a blizzard watch or some such bullshit with this weather sunday morning I'm not leaving my damn bed! Well at least right now that's my opinion... We'll see if I feel like punishment tomorrow.

The PM trail description sounds like a lot of the trails I've been riding out of St. David, the weather prediction and trail conditions look like what I've been riding in since mid October at home! 1000 at the CK on SR 92?

Looks like the mud fest is on! At least it looks like we won't get rained or snowed on today.

Status Update

Two pins in my right foot. They should be out the first week in March. Already ordered a new set of handlebars. I should be ready for the less technical stuff by the end of March.

Try to stay on the crunchy snow between the two patches of Ice.

Bret posted the route below but he has not chimed in lately. I plan on being at Gas City on BST at 0800 tomorrow morning. I saw bret's bike in the back of a truck at Greeley hall yesterday. Hand warmers, skill saw top case and all. Somewhere inside him is a KLR guy trying to get out. I am cool with any route however it will be slick tomorrow. Should be fun.

My cell is 520-249-5237.

I'd be more interested in the Dragoons, like Ghost Town Trail, over the mountains to or from Pearce, ride the Stronghold on the West side. I have some recon to do before the big Dualsport weekend at the Triangle T.

What if we left Bisbee, headed out to High Lonesome, up to Davis Road, around trhu Elfrida and back to Gleeson, up Ghost Town Trail to Pearce, over the mountains on Middlemarch road to the West Stronghold, up the west side to St David and then find a way back?

Any thoughts?

I'm good for Sat or Sun or Sat/Sun.

I even have all of my camping gear in the truck and my motorcycle!

Saturday Ride

Twentyniner and I had a great ride this morning in Bisbee. It was a little cold getting out there but the muddy and technical trails warmed us up pretty fast. Great area to ride with any kind of trail you could want. Looking forward to Sundays ride. Pics from today coming later. GPS route from today is at this link..............

Sorry, I didn't see your "IN" post untill this morning, since I was away from a computer until I got home from work last night at 2:00 A.M.

If you had asked me last night about the ride being on I woulda said hell no! It was dumping rain all night and snowing in Bisbee on the way home. If it was still raining this morning I woulda pussed out as well(I don't mind being caught out in the rain, but starting out from my warm, dry casa is another story!). When I got up at 9:00 the sun was out and Clay said he was in, so we rode.

Hopefully the next time we do this ride the weather will co-operate a little better.
