I saw an old guy talking to himself yesterday walking down the street holding jug of ice tea. He swung it at everyone who passed. Screaming nasty stuff. I thought of you Dan. If you didn't have a bike this might be you 20 years from now.

PA's Dragon?

Sorry to interrupt your mudslinging, but I have a local question and hoped you guys would know.

I was invited to go on a ride of US125 south of Shamokin. I was told it was PA's equivelent to the Dragon with curves, elevation changes, and dropoffs. I dont like group rides, but thought I would like to check it out.

Has anyone ridden this and is it as cool/ difficult/ accurate as these guys say?

They list it as an expert ride, but I doubt it's much different than any other PA backroad.

Anyone in the group know?

Pa125

It's a great road and highly technical in some areas. Winding country road in others. Lots of blind corners that cages tend to take wide, requiring a high level of concentration. Paved pretty recently.

Some of the switchbacks are at what seems to be a 45 degree angle (elevation wise), making it...interesting. Feeling of making a sharp left turn while doing a wheelie.

Not a rookie road by a long shot, but a ton of fun. Supposedly patrolled heavily, but I have not experienced that.

I have been on it exactly twice, and saw fresh car wrecks both times, so some of the guys more local may have different opinions.

I prefer south to north, over north to south.

Good luck.

I was trying to flag you down, but you just ignored me and kept on riding by.

Thanks so much, but let's see if we can get mine going.

When I get home tonight, if it's not to late, I'll take a pic of the broken parts. I'd be interested if the old switch you have might share some of the same internal parts.

Dennis, I sent a pic to you of the broken switch parts. Hopefully your old switch has these parts in it.
