Also broken in the area that the switch arm pivots as seen in the earlier pic below. Can't put any wraps there, cause it would cause interference of the sliding surfaces. I'm hoping the two hold down screws will keep it from spreading apart.

Time for a Green Flash IPA.

Not sure about the writeup max. See how it goes tomorrow. Bummer about trans taiga. I was looking forward to reading that.

Made it to matagami, out early tomorrow. Sky was like late sunset until midnight but only dead north. Weird, been that way since about 10:15 when it got dark.

Lots of cloud cover. Bummed because I really wanted to see the stars this far from civilization. Great ride.

Shit happens. I'll make it up there eventually.

I heard rumors that they're going to or may have already started cutting a road up to the Hudson Bay from the Radisson/Chisasibi area. Any truth to that, that you can tell?

I know you guys are already thinking about next weekend. I wish I could go. But I promised to cover saturday for the new guy. So I only have next sunday off.
But since I am covering I have a three day weekend this weekend!!!! I will be doing 2 track days at Summit Point WV on Bacon 2.0(Sunday and Monday). I planned to leave early today and enjoy a little WV backroads, but the wife is out of town and I did not want my kid home alone all day. Now that I work full time he already spends a lot of time alone. Anyhow, she will be home by lunchish. And I will be on the road by 1-2 O'Clock. If anyone wants to come, its something to see. At lunch there are try the track sessions. So you can get out there for a lap or two. And camping is free. Even if you take advantage of the free camping and ride all day, its usually a good time. Hell, you might even get to see me wad up my new bike. I have not ridden anything faster then the KLR in a while. This could get intense if I start having a good time.

This obsession with Siberia 2.0 is not good for you. There are bugs up there that can carry you away.
