Hey there Wayne.

Is Bedford PA to far for some of you as a centralized RTE location for us PA and NY'ers to meet you DDB, SMIB, and CH'ers?

The Jean Bonnet Tavern is what I had in mind.

Hey Jeff I was eyeballing your bottle of beer last night.
When are you planning this rte, it would be nice if I could get a few more rides in this year.

We'll see if there is any feedback about Bedford. We do the RTE's all year round up here. As long as the roads are clear that is.

Glad to know that your fostering my beer. Actually I've been rearing some bottles for you also. Here's four that have matured.

I would have to get off it to take a picture :)

around a month ago I mentioned I wanted a bike like Bean Top. After buying the KTM 640, the F800 started to sit and became a 2 up touring bike.
Then 2 weeks ago the wife and I road up to Dones Bones (150 miles RT) and I decided I need something more worthy of riding the Lady around on the streets (she would ride more with me if it was more comfortable). I call this one my naked touring bike, but some people call it a dirt bike

Very nice! I was reading a thread on here where guys were saying how good the 800 was for 2 up. I did it a few times and a 200 mile day was not fun 2 up.

I have never had a boxer before, so i can't compare it to the older version. All I can say is this is the nicest bike I have ever ridden. Love the low end power. And it handles more like a street bike then the F800, much more stable at highway speeds (even with crosswinds). And did I mention the power

Its smoother then my K100 was, but much more low end. Even more low end than my Buell had.
RPM's are much lower running down the highway as well.

I already love the seat. I have been out on two 100 mile runs and my ass don't hurt anymore.
It has the low seat on it. The seat is wider then the Sargent I had on the F800, but I can flat foot the bike now with no problems.

I found the BMW to be the most
Civilized bike I ever rode. It handled great slow. And it did fast well too. Plenty of power. I will own one again some day.
