Didn't realize we would be that far south.

Poor planning on my part.

My wife and I both work full time jobs. Hers requires that she goes away for up to a week a time or two a year. Most trips are a few days at most. She's asked me to come along but her trips are to major cities and I hate cities. Mainly just can't stand being around that many people.

In the winter (December and January) I normally disappear for about 3 weeks for hunting. Usually 1 week at a time though. I need to return home for her to do my wash sometime! 2 of those weeks are in PA and the other is somewhere out of state between Maine and North Carolina. Last year I went to Chincoteague, VA for duck hunting for the week. A buddy, my dog and I celebrated New Years in the hotel room.

My wife spent New Years day with my cousins and I spent New Years with my dog scouting for the next days hunt.

Good luck with everything, we never give each other crap about our schedules. There was a month last year when I saw my wife for maybe a weeks worth of time due to her travelling for work and when we were around I was on night shift and saw her as I was going to bed in the morning and she was leaving for work.

Our vacations are typically a few long weekends at the camp in Snow Shoe and a trip for a week about every other year to Jamaica (I hate local beaches too).

If you road 200 miles of this stuff, my hats off to you. That is a long day.

Keep your hat on.

No, it was mixed surface throughout the day. I wish I had the discipline to take more pics.

The off road section in the pic was a game land access in Fayette Co. Without knobbies, I had to be careful not to drop completely into the bottoms. If I was with another rider I might of been a little more frisky. In the sections of single track, I found that I'm a bit out of shape.

The majority was on gravel, hard pack, or paved back roads.

Only rode Rock House a few times with some local guys. Heard Pinnacle Creek is more suited for motorcycles.
Which is your favorite since I know how you like to ride.

Hatfield McCoy is just the same ole thing. Ride all day, lots of fun, eat dinner, drink beer around campfire, sleep, then repeat.
Pretty sure you'll like it.

not when I was in Pocahontas a couple years ago.

I was riding with 4 other dirt bikes. We all did this conga line up a hill climb (instead of taking turns), when we got to the top there was eight 4 wheelers blocking the landing zone at the top. They were all pulled into a circle with front racks pointed in. in the center of this circle was a guy pouring shots of Jack Daniels for everyone (this was 9am)

also I remember A local telling us "we don't tell West Virgina jokes around here, you just sit back and watch them happen"
