Looked for you at the NYC show yesterday Dennis, with no success. I'll take a Ducati Multistrada 1200, please! And I was surprised at how comfortable the V-Strom felt. I have to figure out what my next primary street bike will be when I'm no longer flexible enough to curl up on a full sportbike!

-6F when I got up this morning; it has now warmed up to -3F. I'm definitely procrastinating on going out to do the errands! Well, at least the sun is out.

I have to test ride the nine today if I wanna load up tomorrow. How long of a ride do you think I need to see if I bleed the brakes right?

5 or 600 miles should be enough.

We didn't get any snow overnight. I say they only close on Monday or Fridays to extend their weekend. Maybe they're Jets fans.

Ok.
I did about 50 miles. I really should if dressed better. But it wasn't bad. It was like 9 degrees. I went in my Carhart and heat liner. I wasn't bit cold. Except for almost falling on the ice in my driveway everything went well.
I am pretty much ready. I just need to pack some clothes and load the bike. I have repacked a half dozen times. First light. Then heavy. Now I
Am heavy. By tomorrow it will be packed light again. My tools have been the issue. How much to take? I don't plan to Offroad. But I might. I don't plan to crash at the track day. But I might. The tool bag gets heavy real fast.
As for clothes. I will be gone about a week. Thats a lot of clothes for a fat guy. But it's a road trip.
Wed will be sweats for the van. And when I change to get on the bike, that stuff can stay in the van.
Thursday and Friday will be all day riding. Shorts and tees under riding suit(or leathers).
Saturday and Sunday will be shooting and riding at Jennings GP. More shorts and my leathers (hard to pack). I might just wear my leathers from Orlando to Jennings. Then send them home with one only friends. I might send all my camping gear too. I won't be camping once I head north to atlanta.
A lot to do/figure out in the next 24 hours.

did it stop when you rolled it of the work lift.

I don't mean when it hit the floor, I mean when you pulled the brake lever. They usually alway stop pretty efectively when there on thier side. Uless your going 150 Mpg and you between the bike and the armco.....
