I didn't see the price you paid for the Dunlops when I was posting on my phone, that is a good deal. My mounted price is actually Dave letting me use his pneumatic machine to grip the rim, while I spoon them on. Easier than me chasing the tire around on a bucket at home.
You & I will have to compare notes on mileage and wear as we use them up.

Let me know how those work out for you, the reports on the 1200 weren't very promising as far as mileage went.

American Supercamp is ridiculously fun. It cost $600 for 2 days. But you don't have to bring anything with you. You use there gear, bikes and they feed ya. It really helps you find your limits. Flat tracking is too much fun.

Yea, but for less than $200 a set? The OEM Anikee's sucked on asphalt, were scary on dirt and like slicks in mud, but they are expensive. Took them off after 4K, still had lots more miles on them. Replaced with Shinko 705's. So much more predictable asphalt and dirt, way more traction, still a bit iffy on loose gravel and mud, but cheep. 3000+ miles and the rear is gettin squared, but still some miles left. I'll see how the Big Blocks work. Should be much better on loose stuff. If they fit my riding style, and push 4k miles, for the price, I'll be happy. It is my miles/$/performance formula.

What size rear do you have? I need a rear Anakee II. Mine is spent from running back and forth to summit.

Next time I see you maybe you can pass on some of what you learned. $600 is alot but to be supplied w/everything sweetens up the deal. I always wanted to do one of the SM schools.

Excellent. They are not too hard on me at tech. But my tire is a bit square at this point. Its got 8000 plus miles on it. But the track has been rounding it off. I will come up next week and buy lunch and a beer for it. This kid is home on break this week. So I am now grounded.
