Some of us just aren't cut out to be BMW riders. Thank God. I rarely brag about mine being a bmw, but I do like the bike.

Going out tomorrow?

Then again Dennis you got us.
We like you.
We think you are great.
You are my friend in spite of the fact that you ride a BMW GS.

If these folks need a bike brand to feel secure, then they are to be pitied.
I would have told them that they have my sympathy for a p-poor attitude and that I will be praying for them.

Some people just don't seem to realize that when the shit hits the fan, when the world goes haywire, in the event of total anarchy and lawlessness, their "eliteness" just won't (doesn't) matter. The 230lb gorilla who has them by their neck and balls doesn't give a rats ass about their earning potential.

On a happier note, I'd like to thank Tim (NEPArider) for helping me with the throttle body sync on my new-to-me Strom this morning. Good dude.

I rode that dirty GS with the 190 on the windshield and it's definitely good enough to be a parts bike....

Not a bad rant though, I'll give it a 7.8 on a score of 10.

Dennis I have never met you, but you and the dirty GS are aces in my book. Good thing I didn't go down with my "shitty" KLR.

So Dennis, tell us how you really feel. This time don't hold back.

You had to actually clock one of these guys????

Wow!

I have to say though, that you might have misinterpreted things a bit. It does sound like you have run into some butt heads, but a particular brand of ownership isn't the common denominator. Think about it, I'm as big of an asshole as any and have never owned a BMW.

Dennis, I concur with your statement. When I left yesterday afternoon for the rally I was full of excitement. I've been to a few ADV gatherings and I was expecting that kind of event on a larger scale. Turns out, that the Starbucks, douche bag stereotype really isn't a stereotype. Don't get me wrong, I did meet a lot of neat folks but they were vastly outnumbered by the tools.

It sucks that I've finally got a bike I really like and is a true "dual sport" and its a BMW. I'm contemplating putting Yamaha stickers over the BMW ovals. I mean it is blue, right?

PS: WTF was up with the moron riding around with his bike covered in blue LED's? I hope somebody got a pic of that fucker.

I filtered myself. I just wanna ride my bike. I wish this event was over. NEPA looks like Swiss Cheese with all the holes it has in it.
