I like it,when life gives you lemons....make lemonade.
Keep your head up and carry on.
I like those Baja looking headlights.
Bed line the tank for now.
It will look good.

How's the ribs?

Sweet.
But I doubt I can afford it. I still have the OEM headlight from my Ducati at home. I think.

Well it took a few hours, but the bike is ready to leave tomorrow. Its not perfect, but road worthy. All in all the bike looks almost normal. Just a bit twisted. I should have it back to KLR perfect within a week or so. The tank dents are not real bad. It just sucks because it was so clean before. Now its trail clean.

Man that sux Dennis,But I know you, at least you dont get attached to material things....

I bet it was that fany new Low fender that caught the wind and riped the whole bike from the RV, You lucky it didn't flip the whole RV.....

I told you, to get a beak on that thing to counteract the downdraft......

Did you ever see a bike you like? And go over and talk to a guy about his bike and they guy made such a bad impression on you that now you don't even like the bike anymore. I more or less spent the weekend with such a guy at the track. He was a ADVish guy with a Jeff B bike(speaking ion code). It was even scraped up. So I assumes he ha some great stories. But I was wrong on all counts. This guy melted my brain with geeky tech talk, poor riding skills and social awkwardness. I am a geek. When you can out geek me with tech talk, you are way out there. You need to get out of the lab more. Socially awkward boarder line creepy.

If I happened to see a guy riding a piece of shit "Jeff B" bike I'd walk up and kick him right in the balls for being such a tool.

Jeff,
I know I am a bit socially awkward with you. But I like you a lot. I love your bike. And you ride the shit out of it. So you are ok with me. Even if I don't return your calls, I have a lot of respect for you. Every time I see your bike I want to run out and get one. This guy was the anti Jeff. He made me want to burn the Kawi Factory down.

That's OK, Jennifer Aniston doesn't return my calls either. You and I have a legit friendship, but still I think it's almost a patriotic duty to kick in the nuts of anyone riding a "Jeff B" type bike.
