Speaking of porn. I watched my first porn movie last night. It was something. I looked so young.

I have been hanging with the Kansas crowd a bit online. So far they seem like good guys. One runs another forum that they all hang out on. He offered to bring some of them over to help unload. Good guys.

Okay I sent a note when I ordered telling him what bike I needed the cable for.

"My apologies, I thought there was one under the seat on the left side too."

If there is an accessory plug under the seat, they have hidden it well from me.

the 1200GS has the plug on the left side under the seat...

I think you'll need a socket the is fused directly to the battery..

the stock socket is canbus controlled and "fused" to shut off at 5 amps and the fuel pump runs at about 7Amps causing the stock plug to shut down..

If you put a battertender plug (SAE) direcly to the battery with a 10 amp fuse, it would serve as a place to keep your battery maintained and a lead to use for the bypass cable if needed..

I use this charger for my bike... (canbus freindly)

He lists the F800GS on his site.... so I would think he would know which one of his products the bike takes,,, my bad.
Looks like I would have to have rigged the accessory plug directly to the battery for it to work, which begs the question why the accessory plug..
Wasn't the controller anyway, but figured I would keep the cable ..just incase.
