you Prolly got the cable with the BMW plug (wich will not werk with you stock Acc. Plug.

there are a couple of ways we can fix it..

option one send it back and get the SAE plug, Then go the battery tender route in my previous post. (good idea If you plan to get a battery charger/maintainer)

option too: cut the BMW plug off the cable you have now and replace it with an SAE plug from Advance Auto Partz. then go the battery tender route.

Option 3: Keep the cable you have and modify your stock BMW socket and connect it directly to your battery with this kit from powerlet

Option 4: have hermy's fix you fuel pump and keep the cabel you have because sure as shit if you have the correct spares you'll never need them

The blue plug does not plug into the Fuel pump controller.
It is intended to bypass the fuel pump controller...

you have to remove the controller Then the Blue plug will plug directly into your fuel pump under the controller (hence the Bypass)

Just like we did on sunday. (except I had the SAE version that I made myself with the blue plug from my old controller and the SAE connector from Advance auto.

He thought the f800 had a plug on the side like the 1200. So my cable is for a 1200... I guess hes making a longer one for me.

thats what you need to make your own SAE Bypass cable..

Just ask hermy's for an old fuel pump controler, then cut the plug off the and fit it to the end of that cable...
