When you start thinking about ordering another one, PM me and I will decide. Hopefully its summer when your ready so I am already up your way, I will give you cash before ordering. I was thinking of running the Shinko 700 on the front.

How many miles you think your getting out of the E07?
My rear has over 10K on it now. I put it on a long time before the front. Prob only a cple thousand on the front. I have been holding off ordering in hopes of a usa distributor....mx1 was out of them, but it looks like they are back in stock now.

I agree with what you are saying Jeff, unfortunately my biggest problem is me, obviously, I can be smooth but I chose not to because I enjoy forward acceleration too much. Same on 4 wheels...so I am experimenting to get the best that I can get based on my riding preference so know I won't get as much as everyone else...maybe when I am as old as you, I will be smoother...but probably not.

Thanks to all for responding.

I just put in 4 rears and checked shipping $75 which is about 18.75 per tire.

Roger, you going to buy the Dakar version this time with the stiffer sidewall? Its only $10 (canadan) more.

Never thought of putting together a group buy to save on shipping. The tire is $159.00, but add $50.00 shipping its way to expensive.

I am not sure what advantage I would gain? ... the disadvantage would be that it would be harder to mount/dismount.

I think if you got out somewhere and it was real sloppy, you might be able to run lower PSI without destroying the tire.
at least it works that way with dirt bike tires. My Trials tires I can run as low as 8psi.
I ride 2 UP a lot, and it might carry the extra weight better,
and might help as my wife has a knack of wiggling around at the wrong time in corners

I have no personal experience w/them but I have heard some good reviews of the Continental Trail attack. They look to be biased more for the pavement but some have said they aint half bad on gravel and hardpack.

I'm shut out of alot of the good stuff w/my Versys because of the 17" front rim.

Well age hasn't made me smooth either, but I do know it's value and do try to improve. Unlike you, I'm a pretty reserved rider and not much of a speed demon. But every now and then I get a little aggressive and cut loose.
