True story:

1973....Our family rode to Eureka Tents looking for tent deals..., my bro on the back of dads and me on the back of moms bike...that is back when tents were either canvas or Eureka.

We camped below Corning at Ferinbough Campground....[might be a KOA today?]

Raccoon's ate at the saddlebags on the bikes and tried to invade the tents....

I punched one through the tent fabric as he tried to invade.....he went sailing and screaming.....back to sleep.....

3am, a squeaky train came through the campground...we were ten yards away.....if it lasted ten minutes it lasted an hour.....

Dave, for you we recommend a tent w/no less than 100HP. Anything less will slow your sleeping down.
