Dammit Tracy, wait your turn.

Dave, for you we recommend a tent w/no less than 100HP. Anything less will slow your sleeping down.

Ah Haa! I said $600. I knew you and Eddie spent the rest on hookers and beer.

Well the stator has been shipped to CUSTOM REWIND in Alabama to get re-wrapped. Gary, the owner, is standing behind it and covering the cost.

I ordered a Compu-Fire Series style Reg/Rect from my local dealer which will set me back around $170.

I'm hoping this will be the end of stator issues for the end of time.

Markcap,

I'm thinking of eliminating all the waterproof connectors, and just soldering all the splices and covering them w/shrink tube.

Your thoughts?

Although, the stator lead connector does look more substantial than the Kaw factory connector.

This is what will be delivered...........................

I'd stick with the plugs that style are very good unless you are getting the heat shrink with the hot melt sealant inside.

Scooters are to me, what dirt bikes are to others. As a kid in Spain I rode all over on my scooter. It's how I got everywhere. Mostly on dirt. We rode to other near by towns and to swimming/camping sites way up on the mountains. We picked up Swedish, French and German girls to go skinny dipping(they would summer in Spain). Scooters remind me of the best years of my life. I will always be scooter trash. So keep your smart cars. I will take a 100 mpg scooter.
