Good Xmas in NH.
Cut short by impending storm.
Made it home just before the snow on Wednesday.
Happy New Year to you too.

That's correct..

I found that out the hard way a few years ago, But I made it

for some reason all the sign saying no winter maintanance and snow mobile access weren't registering for some reason. I figured it out rather quickly when the road turned to all ice at 50 mph...

of course I was on my bike.

I searched for a hour but couldn't find the pics of the guys pushing beantops bike down the alley at the first ice rally. Skyclads parents came and jump started him eventually. No pics of the jump start out in clearfield either, dammit. Fun times.

Lotts of luck tomorrow morn, my bike doesn't seem to start if its in the 20's. I run 10W-40 oil in the winter to give it half a chance. I guess the oil gets so thick that it won't crank, just like a dead batry, but when the temps warm up it cranks fine. I try to park my bike where it will be in the sun at first light, so it has a chance to warm in the sun till I'm ready to go. you only problem is you always leave before sun up, I'd try to get it in the loby if possible or sneak it in the warm room.....

let us know how you make out in the morn. I had to get a car to jumpstart me at the Ice rally.

First we tried this:

Then a new battry.....

then this finally this (on the new charged battery)

thanx to Skyclads folks....
