Sleeping at the track Saturday night (getting there at 1 am and setting up) or waking up early 300am to get there for the meeting. Either makes me unhappy. Spending $$ on a room doesn't sit well either. I could miss the first track day. Or show up at noon and just be social.

I don't have to be home until Monday night. So I could show up late Sunday and ride on Monday. Or not ride at all and just hang out when ever I get to the track.

Me and eddie may do a RTE in woodstock, then stay the nite at bloochdogs. He has room in his basment or gay-rodge so we shouldn't need tents just a sleep pad and sleep bag...

But we may camp somewhere in deleware

I don't make the plans, I just follow the leader

Wicked Corner Workers!

This is a heads up to any NE FF's that have an interest in motorcycle road racing. One of the best seats in the house at Summit Point, WV is from the corner workers station on a corner. Free admission to the races, free camping, and free food. More info here:

http://www.marrc.org/

The corner worker school is held the Saturday of every race week end.

Turns out I'm really good at turning a simple job into a complicated one. I was adjusting the valves on my new (to me) KLR250 and managed to drop a feeler gauge down into the engine. I can see it behind the flywheel, but I have no way of getting to it without pulling the flywheel off.

Does anyone in the Wilkes Barre area happen to have a 20mm flywheel puller that I could borrow? It's the same one that is used on the KLR650 (not sure if it also fits the latest 650 generation though).

I’d try a magnet on an screw driver or even another feeler gauge and see if you can catch it (assuming the gauge is steel)

From the manual if you pull fly wheel you are “suppose to replace the bolt” not to reuse it.

All though I’v never done valves or pulled my flywheel

Check over on klr650 forum too

I tried the telescoping magnets and one of those claw-grabbie-things, but I just can't get to it.

Eric has one that I can borrow though, so I should be in business!

That's odd that they say you should replace, not reuse it. I wonder if that is actually necessary or just a CYA type thing.
