You can't be serious, right? This is what went bad. Do you think that if you would of instead bought a BMW, Honda, Yale fork truck, etc that another manufacturer would of installed a different double lip seal that would of gave you an alternative outcome?

Do this.......................... a small pc of 35mm film.




Or if you can buy one of these commercially made tools that do the same thing but for more $.






90% of the time it's just a pc of dirt between the seal lips that allows the fork oil to egress. Carefully clean it out and no more leak and Yamaha's name will be back in good standings.
