No comments? Ok, I will go burn in a new cam on the BRP and try this rear tire. Either that or its the ol MT21 for pure durability. I am worried that it is too soft a compound and will chuck... ??? Plan on running a tube and not a mouse'.

imho, the battle rallye sucks, but i have only tried the front. it looks ok in the pictures, but the tread blocks are so large that when i pushed the front hard at all the tire slid. i took it off when the rear needed to be changed recently and switched it out for a dunlop 908ff (couldnt finda a kendda k777 without back order). if you dont push really hard off road, it might work for ya but i dont know. if you havent tryed the 606, try that. good all around tire for the back. right now, im planing on riding a motorcross track so im running a trackmaster, but a 606 would be a better choice for all around dualsporting.

I'll be going with a set of MT43 Trials Tires......great all around tires for road/dualsport on the WR250R.......I mean really, think about it, it's not as if the "retina melting" power/torque of my little ~28hp engine is going to smoke the tread quickly

Good info guys.

I used to run the 606 tires but the price is just to much. I use about a tire per month....

Plus i too found they pushed in the front and the rear slide out too unpredictably. Power drifts you need some slip and some bite.

I have not used the Battle Rally so I was just wonder what people thought. Yup, a lot of lugs...

Plus I liked the name....

Not to long ago the VE33 rears were $50 OTD and the fronts were $40. These are ok tires and for the price have never let me down. I have found them to work well on lower HP bikes.

I still run these a lot on my other bikes. Still cheap and the tall profile of the front tire really resists flats. One of my fav combos is the Kenda K270 on the rear and the VE33 up front.

But the BRP 650 will smoke a 5.10 in less than 400 miles. and I mean D U N done. Too soft a compound. Or maybe I have anger issue and twist the throttle too much..??

Naahhhh.

Man I need to get home and JUST RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have always used D606's so I can't compare to others but love the 606's!

as far as a little slip in the corners, I just know how much slip they have and ride accordingly.
