Are the balanced racks (rack only) shipping? I haven't gotten a response from the Depot. Once I get it I'll see if my Ducati 1098 exhaust mod works

I have the balanced racks on order as well. I paid Holan USA on the 18th but is says my order is "processing". There was no notice regarding a back order status. Are they normally good about prompt shipping?

I got Holan crash bars and some other stuff from them pretty quickly last spring. Maybe the weather is still affecting them

Holan balanced racks installed

My racks were delivered on Feb 16 and I installed them this past weekend. I ended up going with the Metal Mule exhaust and Touratech Zega Pro 38L cases. I ordered the cases unmounted and installed the mounting pucks myself so I could be sure they were mounted in the best position on the racks.

I decided to go with the Metal Mule exhaust because I knew it would allow plenty of clearance for the rack plus the exhaust outlet extends 4 inches past the case so no worries about massive black soot build-up on the case.

I'm extremely happy with the whole setup. Overall width is 42".

Here's a couple of crappy pics from my mobile phone...

Looks great. Got a call from F800 depot, they said ETA was mid March.

To the OP, perhaps you wouldn't mind updating your first post with a list of what may work and what has been confirmed to work.

This would make it much easier to find the info we are all looking for.

What will work: Twalcom, Metal Mule
What may work (pending verification): Beowulf Oval, Leo Vince, Hexacone, others?

Has anyone tried any of the above and can confirm?

A good rule of the road here is that any exhaust that measures outward 10.5" or less from the dead center of the motorcycle should work.

Rob, I noticed you guys are selling the Leo Vince, have you heard confirmation of it working?

Yes. John Gil posted pictures of it earlier in this thread, and it measures in at 10".

Thanks Rob. Saw his post but curious if there were any interference issues with the rest of the silencer or link pipe which may not be apparent based on width measurements alone.

In other words, even the monstrous OEM canister will work, or at least mine measures 10-1/2" from center line of fender to outer edge of back end of the can. I doubt ANY of the aftermarket cans are as large diameter as the OEM, so it's likely any exhaust would work. After all, the racks were probably designed for the stock exhaust, right?

The OEM can will not work, as the rack will not install with it on.

If you would like to give it a shot, be my guest, just don't go trying to return it.

AWESOME! Lots of value added info there. Thank you for putting the time in. It really provides a nice synopsis of the thread.
