There was only one way I could get my wife to ride out there with me today...So we rode to Panacea and picked up some oysters and then we found this hooligan out in the Nat. forest getting my tag.

If I can get our Suburban out there then these are too easy. We've got to get these things a little deeper in the woods off the beaten path.

New tag...

In keeping with my origional idea.... Here is your new tag. Easy to find, but do yourself a favor and find an interesting route in and another way out...

I want it, but I'm about to break down and bitch full time about the cold. I've spent a lifetime w/in a baseball's throw of US 90 (except for four years on one of my formerly rich uncle's yachts) mostly because I don't like the damn cold.

I cleaned my TransAlps' carbies yesterday and I can't even open my shop's doors long enough to adjust the damn idle mixture needles.

When I drove by River Sink Grocery last night at about 10:00p, the car (outside) temperature read 23.

Good goin' on the Tag, Buzz -- Wasn't the hose a nice addition to the other natural surroundings.

Um, re the new tag, does that sign say, "Depot 9" ?

Helispot9 extraction site. Fron the last tag you head West. That sign really is about half way between where that turkey sign is and the river. I went all the way to the river and came out at 267 and 20, ducked back in at 360H right at Vanzant and worked my way back to Silverlake. It was a good ride

I think I just about had it worked out -- it looks like a big ole borrow pit.

I spec' most folks now know where it it, the only difficult part will be getting up the cajones to ride to it.

Yep, for me its going to be all about the ride. I can probably post up the Lat/Long if needed. There are a thousand ways to get there and that many more to get back.
I was running along in 5th drifting the corners thinking Scott would love the roads today, and saw the sign....... slide to a stop, take a pic, and ride off... I should have taken a pic of the other side of the road, it had a numbered road sign there.

Now for the next Tag.

It's in the OHV park. If you don't have a permit I wouldn't sweat it. I've been asked to show mine once the entire time I've been riding. There are multiple ways to get there but they all have their fair share of sand. If you are really persitant you could get it on a street bike but you would not be a happy camper once you got there. There are two ways in that don't run through tight single track and 2-3 ways with lots of tight single track. The choice is yours. It's located at the intersection of 12 and 12A. If you really want to punish yourself get it via trail 14-13R from lost lake.
