Drum roll please.....This tag is in the OHV area and it's fairly easy to get to.
I'll let it sit for a day or two to see if anyone recognizes it before I start giving directions. Mug the gloves are arranged correctly this time though you cant realy make it out...

OK its been nearly a week and no action on this one so this should make it a little easier.
It's located on Trail 10R which comes in from both sides of the creek. Note: 10R is not on the OHV map.

Plus it absolutely flooded out here yesterday. I dumped 4.7" out of my rain guage that fell in 6 hours... This should probably now be a jet ski tag rather than a dual sport motorcycle one.

It was nice weather until yesterday.... If no one gets it today I'm going to see if I can find it tomorrow. Then you boys better get your gear on cause I got one in mind that's gonna be fun
Jeebus people it ain't that tough. just get out and ride. If just Harold, Joey and I play this game will fizzle quickly. So far most of these tags have been easy to get but nobody is even trying. Rulz question: If I get this tag, and email the pic can someone else post it for me? I ask because I would at that point be on my way to the new tag, and it's a bitch to post pics from my phone. Also a PITA to come home just to go back out... |

You're supposed to post by yourself. Don't you have an iPhone? That should make it easy. I've done it from my Blackberry but I admit it was a PITA. $bob$

It's a real pain from my phone as I have to resize for a direct upload to ADV. I don't give a shit either way. No one else seems to be running out to snap a pic

If it's my call:
WHEREAS: 1) Even easy-to-get tags are languishing in situ for a week at the time; and, 2) The object of the game is to encourage riding places to which one might not otherwise ride; and, 3) Nothing fux up a game worse than hyper application of rules; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: Don't matter how (or whose help) you get your tagged picture back to ADV.com; but it does matter that you actually ride a bike to the tag location, take a picture that more or less replicates the original photo that set the tag, post it (by whatever means suits you) to ADV.com and be the first to do so. Fair enough?

Buzz why you in such a hurry to post your tag. Go get the tag and while you're out go find a new one to post. Come home post the old tag and the new tag at the same time. The worst thing that could happen is you get home to find someone else got the tag. Not a big deal, after all you did get out and ride and get a couple of pics to post in ride reports. it's win win.
Now back to our regularly scheduled program...Somebody go get the tag.

It should be great out there now after all the rain. You can get there a number of different ways Take a right on 10A from 358 then a left on 10 which will most likely be a stream by now and just follow the stream back. Take a right on 11R from 358 and follow 10 to the left which may be a stream also. Take a left on 10 from 376 and follow it back but you may need some scuba gear to get through (that's where I submarined the KLX). Or take 10R north from 305 but you will probably need scuba gear to get through there also. 11R is probably the dryest route but it is tight single track and will require a little effort and with the weather we're have now you may even break a sweat. If that's not easy enough for you let me know and I'll give you a guided tour back there. For a FEE of course.
