It is a creek crossing on a legal numbered road in the ANF between the intersection of 309/348 and Smith Creek Road west of 315. The woodpeckers love this tree and therefore we leave it leaning.

I feel your pain. It should be a breeze to find. Not much else around there unfortunately.

Nice! cause I'll need to borrow some gas if I ride anywhere on the 690

We can work a tire change into the schedule if you need a hand

Depends on what kind of parts you need. I check vft.org and vintagemx.us pretty frequently. You'll see a combination of different stuff pop up there on occasion.

I have 4 of them and some extras. What kind of stuff do you need?

exhaust for sure, side plates, cables, bearings, typical rebuild stuff. If I pass on it would you be interested?
I have owned it since 1992, it was rebuilt a few years before then and only ridden twice.

If the motor is good, then definitely interested.

I have most of that stuff; no cables or bearings, but I do have an ok set of side panels, a like new stock exhaust, and an extra head pipe somewhere. If you need cables, I'd go through motion pro; I snapped a clutch cable recently and had the replacement in 3 days.

All of mine, except 1, get used, and a bunch. The one in the picture is a work in progress; getting ready to redo the whole front suspension and put a new 34mm mikuni on, and start doing some vintage rallies and dual sport rides.

Took the Wee out and rode around there some today. spun the odo all the way past the 500 mile mark total

I started to post one from deeper inside the WMA, but to hell with it. you don't even have to get dirty.
