Looks good TJ. Hey, when are you coming down to ride Lavaca County with the locals and hit the Sandpit of Doom?

Based on the feedback I got from Mr2mch, I came up with an alternative return route. I'll keep both and decide based on how tired we are. Thanks for the input!!

Alternate Return Route From Mason
HWY 87 - Southeast
RR 1723 - Southeast (Right)
Simonsville Rd - Southeast (Right)
RR 783 - South (Right)
Langes Mill Rd - Southeast (Left)
RR 648 - East (Left)
Doss-Cherry Spring Rd - Northeast (Left) cross HWY 87
Cherry Spring Rd - East (Straight) - from here it is the same as the first one
RR 2323 - South
Schneider-Moellering Rd - East (First Left)
Gypsum Mine Rd - Northeast (Left)
Keese Rd - Right
FM 965 - North (Left)
Lower Crabapple Rd - East (Right)
Eckert Rd - East (Left)
HWY 16 - South (Right)
FM 1323 - East (First Left) to HWY 281

I was looking at the Google Map the other day and noticed in the stats that the map has had over 180,000 views!! That is pretty awesome. Glad folks are getting good use out of it.

Really sad to see how dry all the creeks are. We didn't cross a single water crossing on the route.

Let me know if you looking for all pavement, mostly pavement or as much dirt (roads) as possible.

I can put any of those together for a Saturday or Sunday ride.

For some of the dirty rides rides check out all the pages on this thread..............

The Google map has been returned to it's original intent as a source for dirt & gravel riding within a reasonably close proximity of Austin & San Antone. All the previously shown paved county roads which caused the map to load slowly are available on several other map sources at this time. I only removed roads which I had posted.....There are still some paved roads shown from other contributors.
