Thanks BrianF! It is on the way as you know from the emailed tracking info, and thanks for the feedback!

Trail Stand in use in not such an exotic location...since it only weighs 10 ounces and packs up so small it's there when you need it. www.endurostar.com

From the pistonandchain.com blog...good info although I personally prefer standard tubes, they are easier to change but I suppose if you run lower air pressures extra thick tubes area good idea, it's all a matter the terrain and your tire pressures

Farkle, Supplies and Gear that we appreciated at the Sheet Iron

The Sheet Iron is a good proving ground for gear, bikes and accessories/tools. we learned a thing or two. To memorialize our learning, here, in no particular order, is

The List:

TIRE CHANGING

-extra tubes/heavy duty tubes. I'm carrying front and back from now on.

-motion pro spoons are awesome http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/partno/08-0541/

-WD40 small 3oz can. Lubricate those tires for easier on/off

- Enduro Star Trail Stand - http://www.endurostar.com/ works like a charm!

- Good patch kit.

Great product. Haven't seen a simpler, smaller or cheaper riff on this design.

Hey JCANRUN, check out this post on page 43 and more on page 44

I haven't used the Trail Stand on a Tiger 800 myself but it looks to work fine.

It's the only stand I have and I've done brakes and about 4 tire changes so far with no issues or complaints.

Thanks Steve. Other then me loosing the bottom bolt, its been amazing.
I can get 10,000 km easy out of a mitus E09 rear (12,000 km or 13 if I really stretch it) and close 20,000 km the front.

Hey, RoninMoot thanks for the info!
The thread is 3/8-16, not that that helps you in a country that uses metric i suppose. I'll be happy to send you a replacement but the postage to asia might be a bit much. Send me a p.m. if you want to discuss what we might do to get you a replacement part. I'm sure you have fashioned some sort of work around.
Just for reference a lot of people don't ever need to remove the foot for storage, I recommend a little thread locker or even just a little thread tape to keep it in place.

I still want one but shipping overseas is still pretty expensive. You didn't find a local distributor yet?

Hi LethPhaos,
I know the shipping almost doubled, I used to be able to send them USPS International priority for $13 anywhere in the world but they have raised the price to $25 in the last year for the flat rate international box I use.

I can ship 2 Trail Stands in the same box internationally for $25 so if you know someone else who wants one you could split the shipping and get it down to a better price. Of course if there are import duties in your country those also should be taken into account.

Thumb USA shipping only 7.50 for USPS 2-3 day Priority!

I do want to say that shipping in the USA including Alaska and Hawaii is only $7.50 for USPS 2-3 Priority Mail, which is still a great deal and is fast!

Other ground shipping methods are longer and cost significanyly more.
