Dieng night ride, a heavy rain and foggy.

It was getting dark when we reached Batur, a nearest village before Dieng.

Yes we knew it. It was a heavy rain, foggy and dark in the woods, steep and curvy mountainous road and about -7 to -10 Celcius.

Me, pointing at a geothermal station

We passed an emergency bridge over the cliffs.

Finally we deserved for a local famous culinary, a bowl of hot "Mie Ongklok" or traditional Wonosobo's noodle with beef satay for the topping.

Desert rain

That's a road, not a river.

Please post your pics, sitting under a freeway overpass, under a unused gas station canopy or where ever you found yourself waiting out a Rain Storm

Rained so hard my boots were half full of water.

I was glad to find this car wash. Wasn't busy at all.

Gd St. Bernard pass France to Italy

Waited 20 mins for the rain to stop then headed for the avalanche gallery. In there I met another biker doing the same, he was on the way up.

In 2009 I rode 18,589 miles on an island that's 72 miles long. That's 50 miles a day everyday for 365 days. I think I'll go home now. 97k miles and still riding my YouTube Channel
