anyone going? I'll be there both days with a tent, canopy, coolers full, stuff all and any of which you're welcome to - I'll be on the straight right before the bridge. Green Rover. Black Adventure. I'll be wearing my ADVrider shirt - stop by and introduce yourself.

Talking Virginia International Raceway...

Sweet! A few of us plan to ride up. Will certainly look for you.

Are they uptight about where you park your bike? They used to be at the first one.

Right now I'm planning on going- Who'd a thunk it- a bene from a Hurricane!!! Now I get to do the RA and the AMA! There's not much restriction on where you ride or park your bike- at least there wasn't last year. I rode my GS around to various viewing positions each day- and it worked out really well. Nice views all over the place- so it's fun to switch spots frequently. Motard races at Big Daddy's (or whatever that glorified trailer park is called) were worth waiting for last year- end of the front straight provided nice close-ups of the rear wheel drifting. Should be really nice to watch at night- last year it was rained out (twice!) until Monday. Let's plan to meet for dinner on Saturday before the Motard races- the Mexican joint at the Day's Inn on the way from VIR to Big Daddy's was surprisingly good eats- What do you guys say???

Most bikes park on the skid pad but I've parked mine next to my canopy and chairs for the last 2 and no one said a word.

Thanks for the invite Gventure, I'm planning to ride down for the races and I'll look you up to say hello. In appears that Hooligan and I have a similar itinerary doing the Superbike race, SuperMoto race and fooling around in the NC Mountains after. I got on the AMA's website and they now have the updated schedules for the races. Unfortunately, it looks like the Superbike race at VIR on Saturday conflicts with the SuperMoto qualifying and heat races at South Boston Speedway (they both run in the afternoon). The SuperMoto main event is not until 7 or 7:30 PM, so that is not a problem, but like flat track, there is a lot of exciting racing in the heats as riders try to make the field. I think I'm going to pass on the Superbike race on Saturday to take in the "complete" SuperMoto scene. But I'll be at VIR on Sunday for sure and will say hello.

God, I love that part of the country. I gotta work at moving back there!

Ride safe,
George

Jabba,
What is that event you were talking about at Big Daddys Trailer Park? Does it involve women, wrestling and mud/coleslaw? If so, I'm in!!
