Other ADV bikes I've tried:

DR650 - fits fine
KLR650 - fits fine
R1150GSA - fits fine
XB12X - Too cramped for my legs
F650GS Dakar - Seat too close to bars
XTZ660 Tenere - Too cramped for my legs
Scrambler - Too cramped for my legs
620 Multistrada - Too cramped for my legs...

Spotting a trend here?!

Hey Raider, you might want to consider the Touratech Touring High version seat.
It's not cheap, but hey while you're shelling out the big bucks for the 800 you might as well make it more comfortable and enjoyable to ride, right?

I'm 6'1" with 34" inseam. The stock setup was a little cramped for me, and my knees were always hitting my Adv-Spec crash bars.
I went with the TT seat and Fastway pegs and now my knees are nowhere close.
I could just about flat-foot before, and with the TT seat I am on tip-toes.

Gives it a nice high profile too.

6'3" with a 34" inseam. I can make any bike look small. I flat foot an XR650L. Of course some might suggest I make it sag a bit too much! :o

5'9" with a 29" inseam, ride a Buell XB12X, and could care less if I can "flatfoot both feet" on any of the bikes I own..........my feel are usually on the pegs and I'm moving too fast to put my feel on the ground.
