I threw rubber on yesterday, but drive components still hadn't arrived. I was off today and everything showed up at the shop, so I ran up and put on brake pads since they were toast. I am now mobile (chain can wait until next free day) but have no idea where the tag is.

But as to the slipping of the clutch, ever wonder why I boasted about upgrading the factory one on the DR? The old ones had about 20 bolts in the RH crankcase cover and only 2 or 3 were the same length. I put it together in the dark and swapped a 5mm too long bolt with another and didn't realize. The clutch actuator arm didn't have enough clearance so it would stick on the bolt and I rode all day on a clutch that was slipping just enough to make a wheelie machine, but not enough to rev out hard enough to realize it was slipping :O

I had played with the carb the day before and thought "man, 2nd gear blips pull the front end up! This jetting stuff really works!" hahaha

Thank you, that was merciful of you. I was spending too many hrs trying to figure this one out. Statistically the next tag should be easier.

Background clues admittedly sketchy, couldn't get a clear view but that is a MAIN bridge in FW.
Some of Ft Worth's finest here. Follow the red brick road

Law of averages out the window. No idea where this could be. Some trees, an abandoned brick trail and a random overhang.
Good job keeping it on the West side .

I'll be gone again pretty soon. I wanted to grab a tag before I go. Scanning the Trinity up and down looking for a brick road, so far no luck. I may have to push the limits here and borrow some red shoes from my wife to pull of a Dorothy moment looking for the brick road. Either that or pray to the Rock Gods while listening to Elton John's Yellow Brick Rd.

Damn those shoes worked! Key was to dance to the rhythm of Yellow Brick Rd.
But it worked so well that the cat is out of the bag. No way I'll beat Simmons there (it takes 1hr or so for me to get there).
Too much mojo I suppose on asking for a hint.

Made me feel bad.
That and I hate stalling this thing out, even if it means we have to chase it down back east. I start losing interest when it slows down.
Go get it Rich

I knew when I lost Simmons I had to do something. That guy knows where everything is.

I knew roughly where was it from the hints, but couldn't pin point it.

Will be busy this weekend with a family function and getting my truck trailer and gear ready for another WR250R ride in New Mexico the end of next week.

It may still be open for someone else.
